A Photographic Style That's Stress-Free and Moment-Driven

(With a Few Posed Shots for Good Measure)

My style blends candid storytelling with just enough direction to keep things relaxed and natural. Most of the day, you’ll be busy laughing, hugging, and soaking it all in — not posing for the camera.

I believe your wedding should feel like a celebration, not a photo shoot. We’ll grab the portraits you want, then I’ll fade into the background to capture all the real, unscripted magic.

Every package includes a custom timeline — simple, flexible, and built around your vibe. No rigid schedules. No shot lists longer than your vows. Just a stress-free plan that keeps the day flowing and lets you stay in the moment.

An Editing Style That’s Colorful, Impactful, and Timeless

The magic really happens behind the scenes — I spend countless hours hand-editing your images to perfection.

My signature editing style is vibrant, bold, and colorful, with a touch of warmth and moodiness to add emotional depth. I also include a curated selection of black-and-white edits that bring out the timeless beauty of your story.

Take a peek through some of my blog posts to see examples! If you'd like to view a full gallery delivered to a past client, I’d love to share one.

(After all, you’re putting a lot of thought into your color palette — and your photos should reflect it beautifully!)

FAQs (Frequently asked... and fabulously answered.)

  • Such a great question — and honestly, one you should be asking.

Here’s what sets me apart: I prioritize moments over poses. Yes, we’ll get those classic family shots (gotta keep Grandma happy), but the real magic? It’s in the hugs, the laughter, the unexpected little glances — the stuff that makes your day yours. I’m great at anticipating those moments and giving them space to unfold naturally.

Also, thanks to my background in engineering and teaching, I’m a pro at problem-solving — whether it’s a tech hiccup or an awkward group dynamic. I’m calm under pressure and always thinking a few steps ahead.

And I totally get what it’s like to feel awkward in front of the camera. That’s why I bring a lighthearted, empathetic approach to every session — I want you to feel relaxed, comfortable, and most importantly, yourself.

Oh, and one more thing — I offer full day coverage for all non-elopement weddings. From the first sip of coffee to the last dance of the night, I’m there to document the whole beautiful story.

  • Short answer? Very.

Longer answer? I’ve photographed over 500 weddings since officially launching my business in 2012. That includes everything from church ceremonies and backyard barbecues to candlelit soirées and blustery beach elopements. I’ve been in barns, on beaches, in city halls, under umbrellas, and even in snow boots.

Big or small, fancy or low-key, sunshine or sideways rain — I’ve seen it, shot it, and handled it with a calm head and a camera in hand. Whatever your day throws at us, I’ll be ready.

  • Great question — but here’s the truth: whether I’ve photographed there or not doesn’t actually matter (promise!).

Every year, I shoot weddings at brand-new locations. Even familiar venues can feel totally different depending on the season, lighting, or layout of the day. What matters most isn’t the venue — it’s you. Your people. Your energy. Your story.

Of course, if you’ve got favorite spots or must-have backdrops, I’m all ears and happy to include them. But at the end of the day, I’m not there to copy what’s been done before — I’m there to capture your day, your way.

  • Not one bit.

Here’s the scoop: Being a “recommended vendor” used to mean a venue loved working with someone — great experience, happy couples, stunning photos. I’ve had venues request my images for their websites and recommend me to future couples just because they genuinely liked my work. And that? I’m all about it.

But lately, some venues have switched to a pay-to-play system — meaning vendors have to shell out a yearly fee or give up a slice of their earnings just to make the list. That doesn’t sit well with me, so I don’t play that game.

The important thing to know is this: if I’m working at your venue, it’s because couples like you have asked me to be there — not because I paid to be suggested. And yes, I can absolutely work at your venue, recommended list or not.

  • I’ve been booked as far as 2.5 years out… and as close as one week before the wedding. (Talk about a whirlwind!)

Most couples reach out around 10 to 15 months in advance — especially for those super popular spring and fall dates. If you're thinking, “Hmm, we might want to work with her,” go ahead and reach out! It’s never too early to get the conversation started — and I’d hate for someone else to snag your date while you're still deciding.

  • Absolutely — I’d love to capture that moment for you!

Just a heads up: I’m only available for portrait sessions (including proposals) Monday through Thursday, since weekends are reserved for weddings — and, occasionally, a rare family day off. My calendar typically books up 6–8 weeks in advance, so the earlier you reach out, the better your chances of grabbing a spot.

Planning something epic? Sentimental? Super secret? I’m in — just don’t wait too long to reach out!

  • Absolutely — and it would be an honor.

Love is love is love, and every couple deserves to have their story told with joy, care, and creativity. I approach all weddings with the same passion, respect, and enthusiasm — no matter who’s in front of my lens. If you're in love and ready to celebrate it, I'm here for it.

  • Yes, I do — and I love experiencing all the unique traditions different cultures and faiths bring to a wedding day!

If you're planning a ceremony in a place of worship, it's a great idea to check in with your officiant ahead of time about any photo or flash restrictions. That way, I can be fully prepared and respectful of the space while still capturing all the meaningful moments.

  • I sure do! I try to send sneak peeks within 24 hours of every session or wedding. If I’m in a stretch of back-to-back events, it might take up to 72 hours — but I’ll always aim to get a handful of favorites to you as soon as I can.

Sometimes I share them on social media (with your permission, of course), but my top priority is delivering full galleries on time — and keeping a little balance in my own life while I’m at it. So if things seem quiet online, don’t worry — I’m likely editing away behind the scenes!

  • It depends on the time of year — editing is a huge part of the magic, and it takes much longer than the hours I spend photographing your wedding.

Here’s a general idea of turnaround times:

    • Engagement sessions: typically delivered within 2–4 weeks

    • Weddings: usually delivered within 8–12 weeks

If your wedding falls during a slower season (like winter or early spring), your gallery may be ready even sooner. But in the fall? Things get a little hectic — so expect turnaround times on the longer end of that range.

That said, I’m always working to get your images to you as quickly as I can without compromising on quality (or burning out). Good work takes time — and your story deserves to be done right.

Need your photos back lightning fast? I offer an expedited editing option for an additional fee — just ask!

  • Yes — every image you receive is fully edited by me, by hand, with love (and maybe a little caffeine).

Not every photo I take makes it into your final gallery — I filter out duplicates, test shots, and anything that’s less than flattering. (Unless you really want that candid of Aunt Martha mid-chicken wing — then hey, it’s yours.)

The photos you do get are the best of the best, and every single one meets my "keeper" criteria. Editing is a huge part of the storytelling process — and honestly, a big chunk of what you’re hiring me for. I want every image to feel like you, at your best, on your best day.

  • For weddings, I typically deliver 800–1200 images — sometimes more, depending on the size and scope of your day. Big wedding with all the traditions? You might get more. Small, cozy elopement? Probably fewer. The number of photographers in your package also plays a role in the final count.

For engagement sessions, you can expect around 75–125 images, depending on things like session length, number of outfit changes, and how many locations we hit.

Quality always comes before quantity — but don’t worry, you’ll have plenty of beautiful images to relive the day from start to finish.

  • It’s my policy not to release unedited (aka RAW) files. Think of it like asking a chef to hand you the raw ingredients instead of the finished dish — the editing is a huge part of the final product and what makes my work my work.

That said, if you absolutely must have the RAW files, I won’t say “never”… but please know they would be sold at a premium, and with clear terms in place.

I believe in delivering work that’s complete, polished, and fully aligned with the standard you hired me for — and that means no half-baked edits or unfinished images.

  • You’ll receive high-resolution digital files with full reproduction rights for personal use — so you can print, share, and post to your heart’s content.

Legally, I retain the copyright to the images, which just means you can’t sell them or use them for commercial purposes without my permission (but let’s be real — who’s selling their wedding photos anyway?).

Bottom line: the photos are yours to enjoy, share, and cherish forever.

  • I focus solely on photography — it’s my craft, my passion, and where I pour all of my creative energy to give you the absolute best.

While I don’t personally offer videography or content creation, I have connections with incredible cinematographers and content teams across a range of styles and budgets. I’d be more than happy to recommend someone who aligns with your vision and complements my approach.

Pro tip: No matter who you hire, it’s so important that your photo and video teams vibe well — with each other and with you. I work best with artists who let the day unfold naturally rather than staging things for the ’gram. The best results come when we’re all on the same page and in sync with your energy.

  • Heck yes, that’s more than okay — I love working with planners!

Planners are timeline ninjas, detail wizards, and all-around champions of smooth wedding days. They know what matters, what doesn’t, and how to keep everything running beautifully behind the scenes — which makes my job (and your day) even better.

If you’re still looking for a planner, I’d be happy to recommend a few amazing ones I’ve worked with and trust completely.

  • First — I’ve never missed a wedding. But I absolutely have a backup plan in place, just in case the unthinkable ever happens.

Most of my packages include a second photographer, and aside from capturing extra angles and candid moments, they also serve as a built-in layer of insurance. I only hire experienced second shooters — people I trust completely — and they’re fully capable of stepping in and taking the lead if needed.

On top of that, I have a strong network of trusted photographer friends I can call in a pinch. We support each other, and I’d be on the phone immediately to find a qualified replacement who can be there for you.

If, in some absolute worst-case scenario, I couldn’t photograph your wedding and couldn’t find a trusted replacement (which, again, has never happened), you would receive a full refund — every single cent — along with my deepest apologies.

I take your trust seriously, and I’ll always do everything in my power to make sure you’re taken care of.

  • You’re in good company — most of my couples tell me the exact same thing. And I promise you: I got you.

I’m super sensitive to insecurities and camera nerves, and my goal is to make your portrait experience as painless as possible… maybe even (dare I say?) a little fun.

First of all: looking good in your photos is my job, not yours — and I will not do you wrong. My approach is all about prompting over posing. Instead of stiff, awkward directions, I guide you with fun, natural prompts that get you moving, laughing, and connecting. That’s how we get those gorgeous, carefree images that feel like you.

Now, behind every dreamy photo is probably 20 hilariously awkward ones — my shutter fires 5+ frames per second, and yes, there will be outtakes. But don’t worry: only the best make it into your final gallery (unless I sneak in a few bloopers just to make you laugh — and those are totally hideable in your online gallery).

Bottom line? You don’t need to know what to do. Just show up, be yourself, and I’ll take care of the rest.

  • 100% yes — especially for engagement sessions! I love animals and am always excited to include your furry (or feathered!) family members in your photos.

I do recommend bringing a friend or pet-sitter along to act as your pet’s chaperone — that way we can get some adorable shots with them and then a few without, so you’re not juggling a leash while trying to look effortlessly in love.

As for the wedding day — that’s up to your venue’s rules, so be sure to check with them first if you’re hoping to include your pet in the celebration. But if it’s a yes from them? It’s a big yes from me.

  • The only shot list I work from on your wedding day is for family formals — and don’t worry, I help you create that ahead of time while we’re building your photography timeline.

Outside of that? I take a mostly hands-off, documentary-style approach. I’m all about capturing moments as they naturally unfold — the real stuff, not a checklist of Pinterest poses.

That said, if there’s a specific photo you’ve been dreaming of, or a moment you definitely want captured, I’m all ears! You or a guest are always welcome to flag me (or my second shooter), and we’ll make it happen. Your people, your moments — we’ve got you.

  • I sure do! I carry full liability insurance, and I’m happy to provide a Certificate of Insurance (COI) to your venue if they require one.

It’s no problem at all — just give me at least one month’s notice so I have time to get everything processed and sent over. Easy peasy!

  • Keeping your images safe is one of my highest priorities — I never, ever want to deliver the kind of horror story no couple should have to hear.

Here’s what I do to protect your memories:

    • I shoot with dual card cameras, which means every photo is instantly saved to two memory cards while I’m shooting.

    • When I get home, I back everything up in multiple locations — including external drives and cloud storage.

    • I never erase the original memory cards until your final gallery has been delivered safely to you.

Long story short? Your images are backed up, backed up again, and handled with the care they deserve — from the moment I click the shutter to the moment they’re in your hands.

  • I do — and they’re both rooted in protecting your experience (and making the day run smoothly!).

    1. People who try to hijack your day.
Whether it’s a guest, family member, or vendor — no one should be pushing you to do something that doesn’t feel right. Your wedding day is about your love story, not anyone else’s idea of how it “should” go. Be unapologetically you. I’ll always support that.

    2. Vendors being fed after the guests.
Here’s the thing — your photo/video team should be fed when you’re fed. It’s not about special treatment, it’s about logistics. No one wants us shoveling in a cold meal during your first dance or missing a moment because the caterer waited until the end. Feeding us when you eat ensures we’re recharged and ready when the action picks back up.

Bottom line? A smooth, joyful day comes down to respect, clear communication, and a team that’s all working toward the same goal: making your celebration unforgettable.

  • Honestly? I love all kinds of weddings — from intimate, self-uniting ceremonies in the mountains (where it’s just me, the couple, and I’m signing as their witness), to full-blown city celebrations with 30+ people in the wedding party.

But my favorite weddings? They’re the ones where the couple is fully present — laughing, crying, dancing, soaking up every moment with their people. It’s less about the size or setting, and more about the energy: joy, connection, and a deep appreciation for the day and the team of humans who helped bring it to life.

When couples are all-in on their experience and trust me to tell their story honestly? That’s when the magic really happens.

  • I’m a big fan of first looks — but I also totally respect couples who prefer to wait until the ceremony to see each other. It’s your day, and there’s no one-size-fits-all approach.

That said, a first look does come with some perks: you get a quiet moment together before the whirlwind, and we can take most (if not all) of your portraits — wedding party, family, and couple photos — before the ceremony. That way, you can head straight to cocktail hour and soak up every minute.

If you’d rather wait to see each other at the aisle, that’s beautiful too! Just a heads-up: you might want to consider adding an extra 30 minutes to cocktail hour. That gives us enough time to capture all your portraits and take care of little details like bustling your dress before the reception begins.

If you’re unsure, I’m always happy to talk through what the timeline could look like either way. My priority? Helping you build a wedding day that reflects you — your vision, your vibe, your story.

  • Real talk? We live for a little chaos.

If the skies open up on your wedding day — rain, snow, sideways wind (maybe all three) — we don’t flinch. We keep the cameras rolling and keep telling your story. Because that’s what makes your day yours. Not cookie-cutter. Not Pinterest-perfect. Just real, raw, and ridiculously memorable.

We’ve photographed through torrential downpours, blizzards, wild wind — you name it. Whatever Mother Nature throws down, we’ll be there to catch the magic.

Now for engagement sessions — you’ve got options. Want to dance in the rain? We’re in. Prefer to wait for sunshine? We’ll happily reschedule. It’s your call, and it’ll be amazing either way.

We’re not here for perfect. We’re here for real. And real? Real looks damn good in any weather.

  • Absolutely! I love a good adventure, and I’m always up for hitting the road (or hopping on a plane). My gas tank stays full and my passport stays ready.

Each package includes travel within a certain radius from zip code 19608. Anything beyond that may incur a mileage fee based on the current IRS rate. For weddings more than 2.5 hours away, especially if they start early or go late, I may also request a hotel stay to keep things safe and stress-free.

Getting married somewhere that requires a flight or overnight travel? No problem at all — just as long as travel costs (like airfare and lodging) are covered.

Let’s go where your love takes you!

  • No worries at all—this happens sometimes, and I’ve got a great solution!

If I’m unavailable, you can still work with me through my Associate Photographer Program (and yes, it’s a little more budget-friendly!).

    Here’s how it works:

    • We’ll still plan everything together—your engagement session, your timeline, all the good stuff.

    • On your wedding day, one of my incredible associate photographers (handpicked by me!) will be there to document all the love, laughter, and dance-floor magic. Their style and vibe are super aligned with mine.

    • After the big day, I’ll personally edit your photos, deliver sneak peeks, and curate your full gallery—just like I would if I were there myself.

My associates are total pros who bring the same heart and artistic eye that I do. If this sounds like a good fit, I’d love to tell you more!

  • Yay! Let’s make it official!

Start by filling out my contact form — I’ll follow up via email and we can schedule a Zoom chat to get to know each other. If we’re local and our schedules line up (cue the confetti!), I’m also happy to meet in person — either at my studio or a cozy local spot with good coffee and good vibes.

Once we’ve figured out the best coverage for your day, here’s how booking works:

    • You’ll sign your contract electronically and pay your $1500 retainer

    • I accept credit card, PayPal, Venmo, or check/money order

    • Half of your remaining balance is due 4 months before your wedding

    • Your final balance is due 1 month before the big day

From there, I’m with you every step of the way — helping with your timeline, answering questions, and doing everything I can to make your day smooth, joyful, and totally you.

    Let’s do this thing!

A signed contract and a non-refundable $1500 retainer are required to reserve your date. 50% of your remaining balance is due 4 months before your wedding, and the remaining balance is due 1 month before your wedding.

Please note: retainers are non-transferable.

A 6% Pennsylvania sales tax will be added to all packages and is not included in listed prices.

Travel fees may apply depending on distance and tolls from zip code 19608. Example rates: Philadelphia – $125, Jersey Shore – $200, New York City – $350.

All packages and products are subject to change. Custom packages are available upon request. Please contact me for more details.
